Following a 20 year career as a music industry marketing executive and artist manager, Matt became a qualified mediator, practising in the music industry and travelling with vulnerable artists and young bands as a mentor.

In 2016 Matt became a Co-Founder and Director of iCAAD - the International Conferences on Addiction and Associated Disorders where his main responsibilities were marketing and communication. ICAAD London became Europe’s leading conference on Behavioural, Mental and Emotional disorders, with international conferences in Paris, Rome, Brussels, Amsterdam, Dublin, Stockholm, Reykjavik and Istanbul.

In 2016 Matt also co-founded  the charity Music Support which has now become an indispensable platform for helping individuals from all over the UK music industry suffering from emotional, behavioural and mental disorders, providing a helpline, festival safe tents, crisis management and education. Matt is still currently Chair of Trustees of Music Support but is delighted and proud that there is now a full time team in place

Matt is a recovering alcoholic and addict, who has experienced more than his share of mental health issues. He speaks of his experiences in a straightforward manner, with realism and hope, with the sole purpose of trying to spread the message that recovery is possible.
