Professional speaker Thomas Duncan Bell is a truly inspiring mental health expert. Growing up in difficult circumstances, after the death of his brother and suffering from a form of Bipolar disorder, Thomas successfully turned his life around in order to help other people. Known internationally as The Bipolar Businessman, Thomas has already reached over 1 million people through his writing, various speaking engagements and media channels over the last 3 years. As Managing Director at The Kingsman London, Thomas is a specialist in Commercial & Strategic Sales and Marketing, working for major brands like Hackett, Pepe Jeans, Noble Isle and beyond, who all adopted him for his diverse approach to commercial partnerships and his philanthropic focus. In addition to his day job helping big brands change their focus, Thomas is also the Primary Mental Health Commentator for The Institute of Directors and will be speaking and running sessions at all their ‘Open House’ Diversity Conferences around the UK throughout 2019, as well as Judging their Director of the Year Awards for a second year this year. Thomas was also presented an IoD Director of the Year Award for ‘Leadership in Mental Health’, an award that was founded in recognition of the work that Thomas has done with the century old organisation. Thomas has previously supported Prince’s William & Harry’s Heads Together campaign, working with major sponsors and their organisations to evoke change and end the stigma surrounding mental health in business. He’s currently writing his first book ‘The Bipolar Businessman – Everything’s A Little Bit Mental’ and despite not having quite finished it, he’s already attracting interest from a range of publishers, who are keen to support him in commissioning it’s launch.
