The New Business group runs twice a year, and operates as a surgery and knowledge share to discuss approaches to developing new business opportunities.

If you’re role involves business development or lead generation this group is the ideal place to share and solve problems in confidence with others in the same position. All Member Groups provide the opportunity for members to have their say and share knowledge that can feed into the future direction of the MAA. The agenda can be tailored to topics that are important to you. We will also invite external speakers to share their thoughts developing new business

Led by Rebecca Crook Managing Director, MAA

Rebecca brings almost twenty years of agency experience to the role having most recently worked at The BIO Agency as Chief Marketing Officer, sitting on the Board with responsibility for new business, marketing, PR and the learning and development programme. Rebecca helped the agency grow from 45 people to 120+ people in a 3-year period and formed part of the team selling the agency for £45million in 2016. Prior to this she has worked in senior roles at a number of agencies from ehsbrann, Rapier and Tangible giving her first-hand experience of the challenges facing agencies.

Outside of work Rebecca sits on The National Trust Strategic Board for London & the South East and is a Director of Saltdean Lido in Brighton having raised over £3million to restore the Grade II* listed swimming pool. Previously she has also volunteered as a Prince’s Trust Business Mentor for six years working with young people to help them develop their business plans.
