DIVERSITY GROUP

  • We Work 2B, Medius House, 2 Sheraton Street, London, W1F 8BH United Kingdom (map)

This is a members only group

A breakfast roundtable hosted by the MAAG, and featuring a discussion led by Career Ready. The event is aimed at marketing and communications agency and HR leaders.

For 16 years, Career Ready has been transforming the life chances of young people from disadvantaged backgrounds, at risk of not achieving their potential.

Career Ready’s programme is delivered by employer volunteers to students aged 11-18 and is built on four pillars of activity: work place visits, mentoring, employability masterclasses and internships, that connect them with volunteers from the world of business, helping them develop skills, confidence and behaviours to make them stand out in a competitive jobs market.

Working with Career Ready has many benefits for your business including: professional development for your staff, recruitment, ability to engage with a hard-to-reach demographic and enjoying the 'feel good' factor of supporting a great cause.

We also believe that our sector could hugely benefit from engaging with, and encouraging a more diverse workforce into the creative industries. If you agree, we’d love you to attend.
