MAA Training

Training courses for all levels of agency talent

Suzanne BarnesUnder the guidance of Suzanne Barnes the talent division aims to engage, develop and inspire agency people of all disciplines. We have developed a series of training programmes for all levels of agency talent from the Diploma in Integrated Marketing through to the Future Leaders Academy.

In order to meet the varying needs and budgets of agencies we have a range of training options.

Excellence Training Courses

The excellence courses focus on career development and we have a course relevant for Senior Account Executives through to one for group Account Directors. Each Excellence course has a maximum of 8 delegates (where possible), in order to give sufficient time for trainer interaction and practical exercises.

Training Workshops

We have expanded some of our most popular bite size courses into workshops to allow for in depth learning on the subject. Delegate sizes are kept small to ensure a positive training experience. 

A Morning On... Training

We have a calendar of half day training courses that are designed to address specific workplace issues. The ’A Morning on….' sessions are 3 hours in duration and run from 9.30 to 12.30pm. The sessions are highly interactive and delegates can leave the session with real learning that they can immediately put into practise.

Future Leaders’ Academy

FLA logoThe Academy covers the skills and knowledge required to run and deliver a successful agency. It is an intensive programme of learning, coaching and mentoring of talented senior agency people to achieve their full potential by defining the most appropriate role for their next step. Now in its fourth year the next Future Leaders’ Academy will commence in September 2016 and finish in March 2017.

Diploma Logo WebThe Diploma has been introduced to meet the needs of today’s integrated agencies and provide a fast track to integrated marketing including the skills required to become an outstanding agency person.

A combination of seminars, on line questionnaires, a comprehensive reading list and a set brief will give candidates a thorough understanding of integrated marketing and the skills necessary to:

  • Understand the different communication channels and how and when to use each
  • Understand how to work most effectively with clients
  • Take a client brief and work with it to produce an insightful creative brief
  • Understand what makes a great creative idea and how to turn an idea into a campaign
  • Plan and deliver effective integrated marketing campaigns
