2011 MAA Salary and Benefits Survey

We now have the results of the 2011 MAA Salary and Benefits survey. The most noticeable figure is that, on average, salaries have reduced by 6% since 2010. This trend is across all departments and all levels but is most marked at the more senior levels in agencies. Graduate starting salaries are at all time low since 2002 with the average graduate salary being just under £18,000.

 

Agencies continue to offer a fairly generous benefits package to employees with mobile phones, laptops, life insurance, private health insurance and season ticket loans being most widely available. Around 25% of agencies offer a company pension scheme to all levels of employees and this figure increases with seniority, with 67% of agency board directors benefiting from a company pension. Company pension contributions vary between 3% and 7%.
