Diploma in Integrated Marketing is launched by the MAA

The MAA (Marketing Agencies Association) has today announced the launch of the industry's first ever Diploma in Integrated Marketing for agencies.  The Diploma has been introduced to meet the needs of today's integrated agencies and has been solely designed for agency people with limited all round experience, whether they be in account handling, creative or planning.

 

Ian Millner, CEO of integrated agency iris and Chairman of the MAA said, "A qualification such as this, which arms agency people with the skills to become an outstanding professional within integrated marketing, has been long awaited. The pace of change we are seeing in the industry requires a qualification that really reflects today's ever-evolving agencies".

 

Suzanne Barnes, head of professional development at the MAA said, "The diploma has been designed with the needs of today's best integrated agencies in mind and has been created to provide a fast track to integrated marketing".

 

The diploma is an intensive programme delivered via seminars over 5 months with preparation work required for each module. In addition to the seminars will be online questionnaires, a comprehensive reading list and a set brief to give candidates a thorough understanding of integrated marketing and the skills necessary to;

 

-          Understand the different communication channels and how and when each is used

-          Understand how to work most effectively with clients

-          Take a client brief and work with it to produce an insightful creative brief

-          Understand what makes a great creative idea and how to turn an idea into a campaign

-          Plan and deliver effective integrated marketing campaigns

 

The diploma is open to anyone within the industry, with members of the MAA receiving a reduced rate. The next Diploma runs 10th February - 15th June 2012 and Graduation takes place on 27th September 2012.  Enrolment is now open for the course starting in February 2012.  Interested agencies can visit  www.integratedmarketingdiploma.com for more information or contact the MAA directly.
