"Working with the MAA helped us to enhance our pitch process and further develop the working relationship between Marketing and Procurement.

Having the MAA in attendance at all pitches enabled another pair of impartial eyes to refer to - particularly helpful where there were two incumbents pitching."

How to Join the MCCA

You need to have been trading for at least three years to become a full member of the MAA. Associate membership is available for those in business for less than three years subject to meeting all other required membership criteria.

Annual fees are 0.2% of Gross Profit, with a minimum for £4,000 (+VAT) and a cap of £9,500 (+VAT).

To apply for membership please fill in the application from and press submit! Membership applications are then submitted to our board for approval. For further information please contact Scott Knox on 020 7535 3550.

The MAA exclusively represents multidiscipline agency practitioners.

The worst competitor an agency can face is a bad competitor. Bad competitors erode profitability, confuse clients and act unprofessionally. It is in the interests of every single agency therefore, to uphold best practice and ensure that the environment is a highly professional one. Professionalism is achieved by the leading UK practitioners, under the collective forum of the MAA. The MAA has significant recognition by clients and in fact membership is now regarded by most to be a mandatory requirement for agencies.

So, as an individual company, joining the MAA is usually motivated by a mix of the following:

  • Desire to collectively influence the professional environment for clients and agencies
  • Desire to win new business and clients
  • Desire to improve agency talent and resources
