The Boursin Sensorium toured key food events, combining a virtual reality (VR) experience with live sensory engagement to immerse consumers in different flavours.

The Client

Boursin® is made by Bel Brands USA, a subsidiary of Fromageries Bel, a family-owned cheese maker headquartered in Paris, France.  Fromageries Bel produces more than 30 local and international cheese brands that are sold in more than 120 countries around the globe.  Other Bel Brands USA favorites include The Laughing Cow® and Mini Babybel® cheese snacks, as well as the popular spreads Kaukauna®, WisPride® and Merkts®.

The Challenge

The Boursin Sensorium toured key food events, combining a virtual reality (VR) experience with live sensory engagement to immerse consumers in different flavours.

The Strategy

Using Oculus Rift headsets, we took consumers inside virtual fridges to experience the best ingredients up close, whilst tasting various Boursin samples. Personalised videos of their experience were emailed to participants to share on social networks.
